If you live in Lawton or the surrounding area and have a motorcycle (especially if you own a Honda Goldwing or Valkerie) this is the place to meet some great people. We are a local GWRRA chapter consisting of like minded people that enjoy riding our bikes. As a side benefit you get to meet people and make long-lasting friendships. Our meetings are held on the first Mondays of each month, with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Golden Corral Restaurant. Since you have found us, we would like to invite you to attend a meeting and see what we are about.
Because a large number of our members planned to be away at Wing Ding #36 and extended traveling afterwards the chapter had left Julys calendar open. By July 23 most of our members had returned from their travels and some of us felt the urge to ride again. Well Wing Ding # 36 is officially history! Eight Angelwings made the trip to Madison, WI for the annual convention and I believe a good time was had by all! Mary & I made a small detour by way of LeRoy, N.Y to see our daughter and our grand daughter graduate from high school We spent a week with them before heading across to Madison. read more »
Due to many of our members leaving early for Wing Ding #36 we moved our regularly scheduled dinner ride up to June 21, 2014. We selected Montana Mikes Steakhouse in Clinton, OK. as our destination. We had a pleasant ride over to Clinton and made good time in our travels. We had good service and some very delicious ribeye and sirloin steaks with shrimp. read more »
For our June 2014 Movie Ride we rode to the Liberty Theatre in Carnegie, OK. and selected the animated movie "How To Train Your Dragon 2" a sequel to the successful 2010 outing "How To Train Your Dragon". Several of our members had seen the original movie and were anxious to see this one. read more »
We had eight Angelwings make the May 10, 2014 Monthly Movie Ride to Liberty Theatres in Carnegie, OK. We discussed the movies and decided upon the movie "The Other Woman" starring Cameron Diaz. It was a humorous story of a married man who cheats on his wife with Cameron Diaz as the other woman. He tells her that he is single and committed to her. read more »
