What does GWRRA stand for?
GWRRA is an acronym for "Gold Wing Road Riders Association". It is a
national organization bringing together motorcyclists riding Honda
Goldwings and Valkyries. The organization's membership spans worldwide.
Where and when are the meetings held?
The meetings are held at Golden Corral Restaurant,
2632 Cache Rd on the first monday of each month. Arrive 6:30 p.m. to
eat and the meeting starts at 7:30 p.m..
What does a meeting consist of?
The meetings are a chance to visit with friends, tell about previous
rides, plan for future rides. Sometimes the chapter educator will
present some new or interesting information on riding safety,
techniques, etc. We have a 50/50 drawing at the meetings and sometimes
door prizes.
What is a 50/50 drawing?
The 50/50 drawing is a fund raising mechanism for the club. It is not
mandatory that you participate. Tickets are sold, currently 10 tickets
for $5.00, the money is put into a pot and the winning ticket is drawn.
The pot is split in half with the winner collecting one half and the
club receiving the other half, hence the term 50/50.
