Lawton Angel Wings

Well we made it out of Lawton around 4:20 pm Friday after I got home from work. We were already packed up and ready to go. The weather was hot, It was 99 when we left but we had our cool vest and they sure help alot. We stayed the night in Tulsa and had a good night's rest. We headed out Sat. morning about 7:30. We had real good weather all day until we got about 30 miles from our next night stay in Collinville,Ill and it rained so had and the wind had to blow up also. It took us about a hour and a half to get that 30 miles. But we made it all right. We think we saw Dave & Pearl on the way. They were heading home. I don't know for sure that it was them or that knew it was us. But I believe it was them. Anyway were here with my cousin Robert and his wife Paula. We will be heading about 6 in the morning to get to their place. I don't have any pictures just yet because of the rain we were not able to get the golden arch in St. Louis. That's all for now. Hopefully I'll have more tomorrow night.
