We made it back a couple of hours ago. We had a very good trip. The weather was nice and we had just a little rain coming home. We had 7 cycles and 12 folks. We eat ALOT of good food. Kent done a great job showing us around and around, We missed everyone who was unable to make it. Hopefully next time. I will be sending Wes some pictures to share with everyone. See you all soon.

Your 2-day ride to Greenville
Your 2-day ride to Greenville is complete. Everything went fine - only two, sort of, minor happenings. Roughly 500 miles covered. 12 riders on 7 cycles:
Kent (wife still too sick to go)
Doy & Darliene
Sam & Angie
LaVoyd & Linnie
Lee & Vickie Tompkins
Tom & Paula
Wes
Ride to Greenville on Highway 380 to Denton and then to Greenville was a pain. Traffic congestion, some construction, and more traffic congestion. Had a stretch of 20 miles with nothing but signals, traffic congestion and more signals. Seemed like we stopped at most every signal and waited and waited for the green. We took a different route back to avoid that nasty 380.
Visited the Candy Factory place, bought lots of expensive candies, fudges, etc., the Audie Murphy Museum and the Cotton Museum. Had Saturday lunch at a MEXICAN restaurant, Saturday dinner at Ol' Whiskers Catfish, Sunday morning breakfast at IHOP, and a late Sunday lunch at the Feed Lot in Burkburnett.
The two minor happenings at the same gas stop heading home today:
1) Vickie Tompkins was getting on the cycle from the right side and her knee gave way causing her to fall. Guess she grabbed or kept hold of the cycle causing the cycle to lean over. Not sure if the cycle pinned her leg or ankle, but she has a sore knee now.
2) Sam somehow could not get the gas pump flowing, so the girl came outside to reset the pump. As she held the nozzle facing away from the pump and aimed pretty much at the driver's seating area and handlebars, the nozzle blasted forth a big stream of gas. The girl said something like "Ooooo…" and didn't bother moving the nozzle's aim away from the front of the cycle. Sam, quickly realizing he had to do something because the girl wasn't going to do anything managed to grab the nozzle to move it away from his cycle and managed to get her clothes all soaked with gas! Good ol' Sam.
Had just a little bit of a shower around the Nocoma area for a couple miles. The rest of the ride home today was nice and serene.
We had a great time
This was our first ride with the club and we had a wonderful time. My knee is much better today. Lee is going to remove the chrome kickstand that he bought because it kept the bike almost straight up and I went over because the bike was on an incline that caused the bike to fall to the opposite. We had been having trouble with it a couple of other times.
But it sure was a lot of fun for us. Thanks to everyone for helping when the bike did go over. Oh and the bike is fine.
